Mike

Mike started in radio in the early 80’s at KFIZ-AM in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and soon to California and Nevada.

Leaving the business for ten years he went on the road crisscrossing the U.S. doing stand-up comedy opening for everyone from Chuck Berry to Thursday Night Dwarf Tossing!

When stand-up ran its course Mike returned to radio and voice acting in Wisconsin.

He was also a film critic and feature columnist for 13 years writing for the Action Advertiser Newspaper and became editor and writer for the SCENE Entertainment Magazine.

In 2018 he partnered with Marty to create what has become the wildly popular Mike & Marty Show.

Marty

Growing up in a household of 8, with 6 siblings, Marty very much felt like part of the “Brady Bunch” hearing his Mom yell the words “Marty, Marty, Marty” on an almost daily basis.

Marty set the record in High School (at the time) for being cut all 4 years from the Basketball Team but went on to be the only one in his class to play college basketball. (That 2-year Junior College has since closed, and those records tying Marty to the eventual closing have been sealed.)

While his brothers and sisters went on to achieve great things from an Army Ranger, to the Medical Profession and Educators, Marty took a decidedly different path. That of a Radio DJ. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Born in Colorado, spending his early years in the rough southwest suburbs of Chicago, to growing up on Cherry Lane in Fond du Lac, marrying the woman of his dreams and being the father of 3 girls, all of those pieces now provide the daily banter you hear on the Mike and Marty Show.

Enjoy the Show!
